Our coaches are dedicated to building successful athletes and teaching lifelong values. Regular private instruction from our coaching staff is important to fencing growth.

Coach Alex Burte

Coach Alex has been fencing for 20 years. He apprentices under 3x Olympic Gold Medal Coach Amgad Khazbak. Coach Alex represented the University of North Carolina during his collegiate years. Coach Alex has been running QCFC since 2018, and oversaw its move to Dillonvale Shopping Center in 2019. Passion for Cincinnati small businesses and introducing people to fencing has been the driving force behind QCFC!

Coach Edriss Ndiaye

Coach Edriss is a multi-time National and World Cup medalist. At Ohio State University, he qualified to NCAAs and was a 2x All-American. Coach Edriss trains with Coach Elvis Gregory of OSU.
